Fantastic Head Unit!
I've been around car stereos my entire life. At my age, I've seen a lot come and go. In short, if you are looking for a great head unit that performs as well as Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc., then this unit is it. I have this deck in my FJ Cruiser, along with 4 JL Audio 8" woofers, 2 sets of JL Audio components, and 4inch JL Audios in the dash. Great product and price!
I researched all brands of DVD players for at least two months before deciding on this Panasonic. I know Panasonic is a trusted brand, but I've never used any of their car equipment before. After all the research was done, I narrowed it down to just a few top choices. Then I began hunting for the best price. That was where I hit a few walls.
